The Amazing thing Pope Francis does after Midnight

A recent interview with Archbishop Konrad Krajewski, the "Almoner of His Holiness," raised speculation that the Pope joins him on his nightly trips into Rome to give alms to the poor, and it turns out that the rumors are probably true.

A knowledgable source in Rome told The Huffington Post that "Swiss guards confirmed that the pope has ventured out at night, dressed as a regular priest, to meet with homeless men and women."

Krajewski earlier said, “When I say to him ‘I’m going out into the city this evening’, there’s the constant risk that he will come with me," and he merely smiled and ducked the question when reporters asked him point-blank whether the Pope accompanied him into the city.

He's not the only Pope known for nocturnal wanderings. There are stories of Pope John XIII sneaking out to enjoy the beauty of Rome in the evenings, and reports tell of Pope Pius XII dressing as a Franciscan during WWII to help smuggle Rome's Jewish population to safety. More recently, Pope Benedict XVI popped out unannounced to visit an art exhibit.

When Pope Francis was Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio, he was known to sneak out at night to break bread with the homeless, sitting with them on the street and eating with them to show that they were loved.

And we love him for doing it now.

Under the Mantle of Mary:
Marian Thoughts from a 21st Century Priest.

Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC, deftly shares his personal insights on topics including Divine Mercy, the Eucharist, the papacy, the Church, confession, prayer, the cross, masculinity, and femininity. The Blessed Virgin Mary is the central thread weaving a tapestry throughout with quotes about Our Lady from saints, blessed, and popes. "THE NATIVITY OF MARY"

(As seen by Mystics)

Image of Child Mary

Radiant and Beautiful
Spotless Baby Girl.

GOD created Mary's immaculate soul, and showed it to the

choirs of Angels in Heaven. The angels felt intense joy of
Her unique beauty.

By the help of the Holy Spirit Saint Anne filled an
extraordinary joy, as GOD infused the immaculate
soul into Mary's body.

However, to increase Saint Anne's merit, GOD allowed
grievous trials in her pregnancy. Though Satan didn't
know that her daughter is the future Mother of the
Messiah, he perceived a strong spiritual influence
from Saint Ann. She resisted with fortitude and
patience and prayer. The devil was so mad that
St. Ann won't give in, he turned to St Joachim's
house, tried to collapse it to the ground. The
Angels protecting Mary, prevented it to happen.

Early September, GOD illuminated Ann interiorly
that the birth of her daughter is soon to happen.
With joy she prayed for a cheerful deliverance
and sent for her three kinswomen.

The kinswomen arrived! After they dined together
and exchange pleasantries, all went to their chambers.

Nearly midnight, after an intense praying, Saint Anne
gathered her kinswomen into her oratory. Took a small
box with some relic of the Patriarchs of Israel, then she
knelt down before her altar.

A super natural light filled the room. The three women
with her were frighten and threw themselves into the floor.
The dazzling light surmounted and made her invisible.

Later, she was holding a beautiful child -radiant and beautiful
spotless baby girl. Wrapped her, then raising her eyes to Heaven,
holding up the baby - prayed: "O LORD and CREATOR with
eternal thanks I offer Thee, this Blessed fruit of my womb which I
have received from THY bounty without any merit of mine.
But how shall I be able to treat such a child worthily?"

Upon birth of Mary, Archangel Gabriel was sent to make
known the great news to:
• All the Prophets
• Patriarchs
• And souls in Limbo - all which praised GOD that the
Mother of the REDEEMER was in the world.

The Nature had movement of joy, good people felt an unusual
spiritual joy without knowing the cause. On the contrary evil men
and possessed persons were extremely disturbed.

Anna the prophetess and another holy woman, shown in
vision, the child of election have been gifted to Israel.

In Heaven The BLESSED TRINITY, proclaimed to choirs of Angels:
"Our Chosen One shall be called Mary and her name is to be
powerful in Grace!"

Celebrating Christmas by Giving to the Poor

(Jesus  Came Under the Guise of a Poor Young Man)

Jesus came to the main entrance today, Under the Guise of a Poor Young Man. This Young Man, emaciated, barefoot and bareheaded, and with his clothes in tatters, was frozen because the day was cold and rainy. He asked for something hot to eat. So I went to the kitchen, but found nothing there for the poor. But, after searching around for some time, I succeeded in finding some soup, which I reheated and into which I crumbled some bread, and I gave it to the poor young man, who ate it. As I was taking the bowl from him, he gave me to know that He was the Lord of heaven and earth. When I saw Him as He was, He vanished from my sight. When I went back in and reflected on what had happened at the gate, I heard these words in my soul: My daughter, the blessings of the poor who bless Me as they leave this gate have reached My ears. And your compassion, within the bounds of obedience, has pleased Me, and this is why I came down from My throne-to taste the fruits of your mercy.

O my Jesus, now everything is clear to me, and I understand all that has just happened. I somehow felt and asked myself what sort of a poor man is this who radiates such modesty. From that moment on, there was stirred up in my heart an even purer love toward the poor and the needy. Oh, how happy I am that my superiors have given me such a task! I understand that mercy is manifold; one can do good always and everywhere and at all times. An ardent love of God sees all around itself constant opportunities to share itself through deed, word and prayer. Now I understand the words which You spoke to me, O Lord, some time ago. (St. Faustina Diary 1312, 1313)
