THE MATERNAL SIDE OF OUR HEAVENLY FATHER 

Psalms 34:8  Find out for yourself how good the Lord is.

 

In the Very Name of God- {El-Shaddai} has the Maternal side.The name El Shaddai means “God, the powerful one” or “God, the almighty one.”  Shaddai Signifies one who Nourishes, Supplies,and Satisfies. The word ‘El’ means God. And the word Shaddai comes from the Hebrew root shad, meaning ‘breast.’  Some scholars translate El Shaddai as meaning,God, the mighty breasted one. 

Even tho we know God as a Father Figure, yet in Him we can find the Fullness of Maternal Love. God the Father is the Source of every Maternal Love. The Bible Reveals to us the Maternal side of our God, it says, just as a Mother hen Protects its young under her wings, so does our Heavenly Father Protects us His Children's under His Wings. Psalms 36:7 How Precious, O God, is your Constant Love! we find Protection under the Shadows of your Wings. 

Note: God has a Maternal Side, but it DOES NOT Mean God is Female. God Created (Woman-Mother-Maternal Love) from His Divine Fatherhood.                 

Pope Benedict: we are not Authorized to change the Our Father into an Our Mother:

In Jesus also we can find the Maternal and Nurturing side. In John 13:21-23 

The Apostle John use to Rest on the Breast of Jesus. Jesus being a Man allowed John to Rest on His Breast. Because John Received Jesus Nurturing Love, thus john was known as the Disciple

whom Jesus Loved the Most.

St.Faustina: Jesus Shield me with Your Breast. 

So now we can come to Our Father and Jesus everyday and Say in our Prayers : My Father, my Lord, {El - Shaddai}, allow me today to Feed from your Breast the Fullness of your Love, Grace's and your Tender Mercy. 

Abba Father, I take my Rest on Thy Breast, and I Draw from Thy Bosom, The Fullness of Your Love, Mercy & Graces.

The Question Is Not Whether AM I A SINNER? - The Question Is Whether AM I A FORGIVEN SINNER OR NOT? 

Those who are TRULY In Christ Jesus, Are Forgiven Sinners.
When the Wicked People Remind you of your Sins, Remind them that you are a Forgiven Sinner.

The Foolish Justify their Sinful Lifestyle by Saying - All Our Sinners, and they Continue to live In their Wicked Ways. But The Wise Confess that they have Sinned, They Trust In Jesus Mercy and Receive His Forgives and then Openly Declare - I AM A FORGIVEN SINNER.

On the last and most important day of the festival Jesus stood up and said in a loud voice, “Whoever is Thirsty Should Come to Me, and whoever Believes in Me Should Drink. As the Scripture says, ‘Streams of Life-Giving Water will Pour Out from his side.’”[a] John 7:37-39

The Infinite Goodness of God in Sending Us His Only-Begotten Son. 

 

God, You did not destroy man after his fall, but in Your mercy You forgave him, You forgave in a divine way; that is, not only have You absolved him from guilt, but You have bestowed upon him every grace. Mercy has moved You to deign to descend among us and lift us up from our misery. God will descend to earth; the Immortal Lord of lords will abase Himself. But where will You descend, Lord; will it be to the temple of Solomon? Or will You have a new tabernacle built for Yourself? Where do You intend to come down? O Lord, what kind of tabernacle shall we prepare for You, (105) since the whole earth is Your footstool? 

You have indeed prepared a tabernacle for Yourself: the Blessed Virgin. Her Immaculate Womb is Your dwelling place, and the inconceivable miracle of Your mercy takes place, O Lord. The Word becomes flesh; God dwells among us, the Word of God, Mercy Incarnate. By Your descent, You have lifted us up to Your divinity. Such is the excess of Your love, the abyss of Your mercy. Heaven is amazed at the superabundance of Your love. No one fears to approach You now. You are the God of mercy. You have compassion on misery. You are our God, and we are your people. You are our Father, and we are Your children by grace. Praise be to Your mercy, that You have deigned to descend among us.

this is a mystery of Your mercy. 

 

O mystery of God‟s mercy, O God of compassion, 

That You have deigned to leave the heavenly throne 

And to stoop down to our misery, to human weakness, 

For it is not the angels, but man who needs mercy. 

 

 To give worthy praise to the Lord‟s mercy,

Thank you Jesus, for offering us , Even to the Worst Sinners, Thy New Life Giving Water. Thank you Jesus, for Washing the feet of all your Disciples, through which we your Followers (Christians) are All Made Clean. Thank you Jesus, for letting Thy Life Giving Water Flow from your Heart, As a Fount of Mercy (Blood & Water). Thank you Jesus, for letting us Receive your Living Water Through the Anointing Water of Baptism. Thank you Jesus, for letting us Experience Everyday the Joy of Receiving your Living Waters Through the Holy Water (Sacramental's - Treasures of the Holy Church).

Jesus is the unique source of living water. Material things can never satisfy our inner spiritual thirst. Praying and reading the Bible every day are the sure means to receive living water . Every time we receive Jesus in Holy Communion we are drinking his living water. Every time we turn to Jesus for mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation we receive living water from Jesus. This time of Lent is a special season of grace in the Church each year to enable us to drink more and more of this living water that Jesus offers us. Don’t waste Lent so that we may be run short of water and become a dried land. Instead let us profit from Lent to drink living water from Jesus.
As we near the Cross, where satisfying water and blood poured forth from the side of Christ, let us reflect on our thirst. Let us turn to Christ himself, in his body, blood, soul, and divinity, and drink fully of the Lord’s satisfying water.

PRAYER:
O God, you are my God; I seek you. My soul thirsts for you like a dry and weary land without water. Thank you for giving me your Son Jesus as the source of divine life. I do recognize that he is your greatest gift for me, a sinner. Thank you also for the gift of the Holy Spirit who is like a spring of water gushing up to divine and eternal life. I humbly beg you that you may continue to quench my inner thirst for you and your values. Change my heart and remove all the obstacles and resistance that I put to block your love. Amen.

"My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me, the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water." (Jer 2:13)

The Water that Washes All our Sin's (Of Past, Present & Future) 

Jesus to Peter: "Unless I wash you, you cannot be involved with me.

Fr. Augustine: When Jesus Washed the feet of His Disciples, It was Not Only an Act of Humility but of Washing the Sin's of His Disciples, Jesus Washed Away Once and for All the Sin's of His Disciples - Sin's of Past, Present and Future. Jesus Washed the Sin's of All His Disciples who would Leave Him Alone to Die on the Cross, Jesus Washed the Sin's of Judas, Even before Judas Betrayed Him. Jesus Washed the Sin of Peter before Peter would Deny Him Three Times.  

                                                                                         

That Is Why Jesus said to Peter - "Unless I WASH you, you have No Part with Me.""  John 13:8. 

If Only Judas had Understood that Jesus had Already Forgiven him, then Judas would have Not Committed Suicide.

He also called those whom he had already appointed. He approved of those whom he had called, and he gave glory to those whom he had approved of. Romans 8:30

And unto those whom he did mark out beforehand the way, to these he also called; and to whom he called, these he also justified; and to whom he justified, these he also glorifie Romans 8:30

All Christians Should Know that we are All Washed Clean by Jesus.
