Official Prayer to St. John XXIII & St. John Paul II

Dear Pope John,

Your simplicity and meekness carried the scent of God and sparked in people’s hearts the desire for goodness. You spoke often of the beauty of the family gathered around the table to share bread and faith: pray for us that once again true families would live in our homes.

With outstretched hands you sowed hope, and you taught us to listen for God’s footsteps as he prepares a new humanity: help us have a healthy optimism of defeating evil with good.

You loved the world with its light and darkness, and you believed that peace is possible: help us be instruments of peace at home and in our communities.

With paternal gentleness you gave all children a caress: you moved the world and reminded us that hands have been given to us not for striking, but for embracing and drying tears.

Pray for us so that we do not limit ourselves to cursing the darkness but that we bring the light, bringing Jesus everywhere and always praying to Mary. Amen.

Oh, St. John Paul, from the window of heaven, grant us your blessing! Bless the church that you loved and served and guided, courageously leading it along the paths of the world in order to bring Jesus to everyone and everyone to Jesus. Bless the young, who were your great passion. Help them dream again, help them look up high again to find the light that illuminates the paths of life here on earth.

May you bless families, bless each family! You warned of Satan’s assault against this precious and indispensable divine spark that God lit on earth. St. John Paul, with your prayer, may you protect the family and every life that blossoms from the family.

Pray for the whole world, which is still marked by tensions, wars and injustice. You tackled war by invoking dialogue and planting the seeds of love: pray for us so that we may be tireless sowers of peace.

Oh St. John Paul, from heaven’s window, where we see you next to Mary, send God’s blessing down upon us all.

The Fellowship of the Believers - Acts 2:42-47

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

How can we LIVE ON, Is it Only by Hard Work or by having Lots of Money [Investments & Savings] When there is always a possibility that we end up Losing Everything – Job, Money, Savings, House etc in One Moment. In the Gospel of Mark we see that a Poor Widow put’s Two Little Copper Coins, Worth about a Penny into the Temple Treasury as an Offering to God, The Poor Widow gave away All that she had, her Last Two Little Coins. Now this sounds Suicidal, she could have brought Bread with the Two Little Coins and Lived On for Probably for Two more days, but she didn't because she was a Wise and God Fearing woman {Fear of the Lord is the Beginning of all Wisdom}. She choose to put her Trust in God true her Action (Offering her Last Two Coin) The Widows Financial Crises did not kept her from Giving to God, Rather her Financial Crisis Provoked her to give all that she had, so that she could LIVE ON. Surely this poor woman didn't died of Starvation after Giving All that she had, because Jesus Himself Confirms that she LIVED ON Mark 12:44 JESUS: SHE GAVE ALL SHE HAD TO LIVE ON.

How should we React in Times of Financial Crises or Prosperity? In Financial Crises, Should we Hold Back from Giving to God {Church} and to Very Poor people. NO, NOT AT ALL, because the Right Time to Give is in the Time of Crises Heb 13:16 Do not forget to do good and to help one another, because these are the sacrifices that please God., And there are some people, when they become More Rich they become More Stingy, the More their Salary [Income] Increases the Lesser they Give to the God {Church} and to the Poor. 2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember that the person who plants few seeds will have a small crop; the one who plants many seeds will have a large crop.

We need to Ask our self are we Giving the Right Amount of Tidies to The Church, Are we Generously Giving to the Needy (Very Poor people) If we are Receiving our Money [Income] True the Checkbook in Thousands & Lacks, Why can’t we take the Checkbook in our hands when it comes to Give to God and the Poor. UNLESS WE FEEL THE PINCH IN OUR HANDS, OUR GIVING IS NOT A GIVING. MAKE A SACRIFICIAL GIVING.

No one can Cheat on God, God knows Exactly how much we can give.

THE SECRET OF LIVING IS BY GIVING. GIVING OUT OF LESS IS MORE VALUABLE THAN GIVING OUT OF PLENTY.

THE DESIRE OF OUR LORD - FEAST OF DIVINE MERCY

I desire that there be a Feast of Mercy. I want this image, which you will paint with a brush, to be solemnly blessed on the first Sunday after Easter; that Sunday is to be the Feast of Mercy.

” I desire that this image be displayed in public on the first Sunday after Easter. That Sunday is the Feast of Mercy. Through the Word Incarnate, I make known the bottomless depth of My mercy.

Happy is the one who will dwell in their shelter, for the just hand of God shall not lay hold of him. I desire that the first Sunday after Easter be the Feast of Mercy.

Ask of my faithful servant [Father Sopocko] that, on this day, he tell the whole

world of My great mercy; that whoever approaches the Fount of Life on this day will be granted complete remission of sins and punishment.

Mankind will not have peace until it turns with trust to My mercy.

This Feast emerged from the very depths of My mercy, and it is

confirmed in the vast depths of My tender mercies. Every soul believing and

trusting in My mercy will obtain it.

No soul will be justified until it turns with confidence to My mercy, and this is why the first Sunday after Easter is to be the Feast of Mercy. On that day, priests are

to tell everyone about My great and unfathomable mercy. I am making you the administrator of My mercy. Tell the confessor that the Image is to be on view in the church and not within the enclosure in that convent. By means of this Image I shall be granting many graces to souls; so, let every soul have access to it.

Yes, the first Sunday after Easter is the Feast of Mercy, but there must also be acts of mercy, and I demand the worship of My mercy through the solemn celebration of the Feast and through the veneration of the image which is painted. By means of this image I shall grant many graces to souls. It is to be a reminded of the demands of My mercy, because even the strongest (163) faith is of no avail

without works. O my Jesus, You Yourself must help me in everything, because You see how very little I am, and so I depend solely on Your goodness, O God.

Plenary Indulgence for Divine Mercy Sunday

In a decree dated August 3, 2002, the Apostolic Penitentiary announced that in order “to ensure that the faithful would observe this day (Divine Mercy Sunday) with intense devotion, the Supreme Pontiff himself established that this Sunday be enriched by a plenary indulgence…so that the faithful might receive in great abundance the gift of the consolation of the Holy Spirit. In this way, they can foster a growing love for God and for their neighbor, and after they have obtained God’s pardon, they in turn might be persuaded to show a prompt pardon to their brothers and sisters.”The plenary indulgence is granted (under the usual conditions of a sacramental confession, Eucharistic communion and a prayer for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff) to the faithful who, on Divine Mercy Sunday, in a spirit that is completely detached from the affection for a sin, even a venial sin, recite the Our Father and the Creed, and also adding a devout prayer (e.g. Merciful Jesus, I trust in you!)

Our Lord’s Mercy grants forgiveness of all sins and punishment on Feast of Divine Mercy, Mercy Sunday, mercy for even the most hardened sinners!

My daughter, tell the whole world about My inconceivable mercy. I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. Commentary: That is equivalent to the day of your baptism! The slate is wiped clean!

On that day all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet. My mercy is so great that no mind, be it of man or of angel, will be able to fathom it throughout all eternity. Everything that exists has come forth from the very depths of My most tender mercy. Every soul in its relation to Me will contemplate My love and mercy throughout eternity. The Feast of Mercy emerged from My very depths of tenderness. It is My desire that it be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy (Diary 699)

On the Second Sunday of Easter of the Jubilee Year 2000, at the Mass for the Canonization of St. Faustina Kowalska, Pope John Paul II proclaimed to the world that “from now on throughout the Church” this Sunday will be called “Divine Mercy Sunday.”
