THE IMPORTANCE OF USING HOLY WATER & HOLY OIL.

Holy Water and Holy Oil is the Wealth of the Church. From the early Church History the Holy Water & Holy Oil was used Frequently among Christians in their Day to Day life. But because of Spiritual Dryness among Christians, this Practice {Tradition} of using Holy Water & Holy Oil has become less Important.  The Holy Church has Equipped every Christian with the Wealth & Weapon of the Church which is Holy Water & Holy Oil to do Spiritual Warfare : BE STRONG IN THE LORD AND IN HIS MIGHTY POWER. PUT ON THE FULL ARMOUR OF GOD SO THAT YOU CAN TAKE YOUR STAND AGAINST THE DEVIL'S SCHEME. EPHESIANS 6:12.  The Bible Reminds us that we have been given AUTHORITY  to come against the power of the enemy [Satan]  17 Believers will be given the power to perform miracles: they will drive out demons in my name; they will speak in strange tongues18 if they pick up snakes or drink any poison, they will not be harmed; they will place their hands on sick people, and these will get well.” Mark 16:17.  The Mother Church Strongly Urges Holy Water use  upon Her children, Especially when Danger threaten, also whenever action of the Devil is suspected, Causing Malice in men - on the person Possessed with Evil spirit, In Violent Temptations, on Infant baby's when they keep Crying, During Exorcism, Even during Storms and Calamities.  Holy Water has its Great Power and Efficacy from the Prayers of the Church. THE DEVIL HATES HOLY WATER BECAUSE OF ITS POWER OVER HIM. THE DEVIL CANNOT LONG ABIDE IN A PLACE OR NEAR A PERSON THAT IS OFTEN SPRINKLED WITH BLESSED WATER.   Holy Water is a Sacramental that Remits Venial Sin. We can Receive Blessings by Drinking Holy Water especially in Sickness & Sufferings, We can Frequently Sprinkle Holy Water in our House, Land, Well water, Trees & Plants, Work place, office, Shop. If Normal water can do good, then how Much Blessed Water can do good for us - JUST USE IT.  [HOLY WATER, HOLY OIL, BLESSED INCENSE & SALT IS FOR USING AND NOT ONLY FOR KEEPING ON THE ALTAR OR IN THE SHOW CASE IN OUR HOMES.] JUST USE IT.

The poor souls in Purgatory wait in Longing for us to USE Holy Water, so that they can be Released from the Flames of Purgatory.

PRAYER: USE HOLY WATER AS FOLLOWS: DIP YOUR FINGERS IN HOLY WATER AND  SAY,  "BY THIS HOLY WATER AND BY THY PRECIOUS BLOOD, WASH AWAY ALL MY SINS, O LORD".   SPRINKLE HOLY WATER ON HOLY SOULS IN PURGATORY, THEN MAKE THE SIGN OF THE CROSS.  TAKE A PRINTOUT OF THIS PRAYER.

HOLY OIL

In the Bible we can see the Importance of using Holy Oil in both the Old and New Testament. Holy Oil is used in Worship - Exodus 27:20  (The Lord told Moses) Command the people of Israel to bring you the Best Olive-Oil for the Lamp, so that it can be lit each evening (In the Temple).  The Holy Oil is used for Anointing - Leviticus 8:12 He (Moses) Ordained Aaron by pouring some of the Anointed Oil on his head.  Holy Oil is used for Healing -  James 5: 14 - 15  Are any among you Sick? They should send for the Church elders, who will pray for them and rub Olive Oil on them in the name of the Lord. This Prayer made in Faith will Heal the Sick; the Lord will Restore them to Health, and the Sins they have committed will be Forgiven. 

Healing Prayer - to be said while Applying the Blessed Oil.

Dear Lord Jesus, through your Precious Blood through your Stripes and through your Bruises, through the Healing Power of the Eucharist and through the Loving Power of the Eucharist and through the Forgiving Power of the Eucharist, I ask for a speedy and complete cure of all my Infirmities. Jesus, we know that when ask we Receive, I claim the Healing and I now Thank and Praise you for this Healing. I Praise you. I thank you - Lord Jesus. I Adore and I Worship You dear Lord , King of Eternal Glory. TAKE A PRINTOUT OF THIS PRAYER

We also Receive Anointing of the Holy Spirit true the Blessed Oil in the Sacraments of the Church {Baptism & Confirmation}. We Receive The Holy Spirit Anointing when the Holy Oil is applied on our forehead during Church Prayer Meetings and also when we apply the Holy Oil on our forehead by our self at Home. The Holy Oil has the Power of the Holy Spirit because of the Blessings Attached to it, it has the Great Power and Efficacy from the Prayers of the Holy Church. 

BLESSED INCENSE & BLESSED SALT   

The practice of using Blessed Incense & Blessed Salt is also a part of the Catholic Traditions. Incense is specially used in the Church during Mass and Adoration. Blessed Salt can be used to Protect our Home from Evil Spirit by putting Blessed Salt in the Four corners of our Home. Even in the Old Testament time we see the Incense and Salt being use in Temple Worship -  Exodus 30:34  34 The Lord said to Moses, “Take an equal part of each of the following sweet spices—stacte, onycha, galbanum, and pure frankincense. 35 Use them to make incense, mixed like perfume. Add salt to keep it pure and holy. 36 Beat part of it into a fine powder, take it into the Tent of my presence, and sprinkle it in front of the Covenant Box. EXODUS 30:7 Every morning when Aaron comes to take care of the lamps (In the Temple), he is to burn sweet-smelling incense on it. 8 He must do the same when he lights the lamps in the evening. This offering of incense is to continue without interruption for all time to come.   Tobit 8:2-3  [The Demon is Expelled]  8 When they had finished the meal, and it was time to go to bed, Sarah's parents led young Tobias to the bedroom. 2 He remembered Raphael's instructions, so he took the fish's liver and heart out of the bag where he had been keeping them. Then he placed them on the burning incense. 3 The smell drove the demon away from them, and he fled to Egypt.[a] Raphael chased after him and caught him there. At once he bound him hand and foot. 

We can get Water,Oil, Salt, Incense Blessed by the Priest in our Church and use it Frequently.
