Messenger of God - John The Baptist.
A Wicked Woman Request - The Head of John The Baptist.
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:10
St. John the Baptist, the greatest man born of woman, according to Jesus, certainly told Herod that it was wrong for him to have married his own brother's wife. And John the Baptist was certainly not judging Herod himself, but rather, he was judging his action as sinful. Our job as Catholics is to admonish the sinner. The "spiritual works of mercy" demands it! To admonish the sinner means to caution him or her about a particular sin they are committing. This is the job of all Catholics, is to warn others about sin and where it will lead them.

Admonishing the Sinner. The "Spiritual Works of Mercy" Demands it.
"let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins." ~ James 5:20 ~
It is an act of LOVE and Mercy to bring someone's Error to their Attention. Jesus did it, saints did it, and its most definitely BIBLICAL.
The feast of the Visitation recalls to us the following GREAT TRUTHS and EVENTS:
2. The cleansing of John the Baptist from original sin in the womb of his mother at the words of Our Lady's greeting; (the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth filled with the Holy Spirit - (Lk. 1:41, cf alo with Angel Gabriel's prophesy: Lk.1:15, "For he shall be great before the Lord; and shall drink no wine nor strong drink: and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother' s womb).
